Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine.

You might have heard of the spacetime dimension and the alternate energy-matter dimension which details four inroads of unlocking universal reality: space, energy, matter and time in that order. Well, Isaac, when blessing his son gives us a sense of what it must have felt when the LORD was commanding the laws of transaction to be subjugated under the word, thus making his son the heir of creation. Jacob is the confession of the tongue, (the word) and he is made a potentate over the dew of heaven (space), the fatness of the earth (energy), the corn (matter) and the wine (time).

In those days, I noticed two peculiar features of this perspective, which was really an epiphany for me. Firstly, that energy is the launching element, where it all starts. Come to think of it, if you have an earth, (employment) you can open a heaven (favourable atmosphere) over yourself through sacrificing its corn (income) or its wine (time). Secondly, there is an eternal struggle between energy (earth) and space (heaven) to achieve superiority. Talk of science giving credit to biblical wisdom! Well, even covenant believers struggle with the offer to either work smart through the prophetic or work hard through financial principles.
